East End Studios - Mission LA

An adaptive re-use project located adjacent to the 6th Street Bridge in Boyle Heights, the Mission LA campus of East End Studios converts approximately 150,000 SF of cold storage space into 250,000 sf of motion picture studios and related office spaces. Open space includes a ground-level garden that integrates existing railroad tracks, and a series of multi-use roof decks. Taking cues from the adjacent LA River, the project’s plant palette includes a grove of California Sycamore trees, and large masses of grasses.
